There are a lot of motor based pedal assist systems in the world, but this one is probably the coolest, and as our unreliable shady sources tell us, this is the way God intended pedal assist systems to be. Modder Carl’s “Joules” robot rides shotgun on his tandem bicycle, and being a self respecting tin can robot, it also puts up its fair share of pedaling.
Joule’s heart and soul is a PMG-132 electric motor, which works in tandem with nuts, bolts, metal and everything else that makes Joules up, to pedal along with Carl, his master and a true creative genius.
